The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for leading brand strategy, business growth, and market development for assigned luxury or premium brands under Emers Vietnam.
This role oversees the full brand lifecycle - working cross-functionally with internal teams and external brand principals - from strategic planning and market positioning to campaign execution, retail expansion, and commercial performance, while ensuring strong alignment between brand identity, customer experience, and business objectives.
I. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Brand Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
- Drive annual business planning, including sales forecasting, budget planning, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor brand performance and identify opportunities to improve market share, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Ensure strong and consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints.
2. Marketing & Brand Communication
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, retail, PR, events, and partnership activities.
- Manage brand calendars, product launches, and promotional initiatives to maximize brand visibility and business impact.
- Ensure all communications and activations are aligned with global brand guidelines and luxury brand standards.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing investment based on performance insights.
3. Retail Expansion & Commercial Collaboration
- Lead and support retail expansion initiatives, including store opening, launch planning, and brand rollout execution.
- Partner closely with Retail, Sales, and Operations teams to drive business performance and elevate customer experience.
- Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams on product planning, inventory priorities, and seasonal strategies.
- Ensure strong execution across both commercial and brand-building initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Management & Brand Governance
- Work directly with brand principals and external partners to align on strategic direction and execution priorities.
- Maintain strong control over brand budgets and marketing investments.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members when applicable.
- Ensure operational excellence and timely execution across all brand-related initiatives.
II. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree/ MBA in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or Commercial roles, preferably within luxury, premium, fashion, sport or lifestyle brands.
- Proven experience in managing a luxury brand, or successfully developing an international brand in the Vietnam market.
- Demonstrated experience in retail expansion, including store opening, launch planning, and brand rollout execution.
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior, premium customer experience, and brand positioning.
- Solid commercial acumen with the ability to balance brand building and business performance.
- Strategic thinking, strong ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Vietnamese and English.
